When Uneasylistening, Vol. 1 hit the internet in 2001, the nation responded like it had never heard a mashup before. Maybe that’s because it hadn’t – at least not one like this. This album topped every major music critic’s top album list for the year and Zach Sciacca aka Z-Trip skyrocketed to fame. His accolades run far and wide (he was voted “America’s Best DJ” by DJ Times magazine as well as #1 DJ Club District‘s yearly Top 100 DJ poll) and he’s worked with some huge names (LL Cool J, Kasabian, MSTRKRFT, even Shepard Fairey to name a few) as well as the more underground (Murs, Acelayone), but his true talent lies in his uncanny ability to combine the most unexpected tracks together into mindblowing aural porn.
