Indie artist Santigold has released a music video for her new single “The Keepers” from her sophomore album, Master of My Make-Believe.
“The Keepers” was directed by Australian director Nabil, who has also directed music videos for the likes of Kanye West, Bon Iver, K’Naan, and Seal. The video features cameos by GZA, Kick Kennedy, Trevor Andrew, and a blonde wig, and seems to be offering social commentary on the quintessential middle class American lifestyle.
Santigold just wrapped up her US tour in support of Master of My Make-Believe, but will be performing at summer festivals like Lollapalooza and Reading and Leeds.
The music video was debuted on Noisey.com. Noisey is the online music channel of VICE magazine.
