Canadian band Dragonette has announced September 25th as the U.S. release date for their third studio album, Bodyparts.
The band achieved mainstream success in 2011 with their Martin Solveig collaboration, “Hello,” which hit #1 on the Billboard Dance/Club Chart, peaked at #8 on the Canadian Hot 100 Chart, and won a Juno award this year for Best Dance Recording.
In preparation for the album release, Dragonette has announced competition through Talenthouse.com for fans to create their own versions of the yet-to-be-heard track, “Untouchable,” based on the song’s lyrics alone. The winning entry will be featured as the official b-side to their next single.
The electro-pop trio has also just released “Rocket Ship” as the next single from the forthcoming Bodyparts. Hear the new single and peep their upcoming tour dates below.
