Jack White has added even more 2012 tour dates in support of Blunderbuss. Check out the updated tour schedule, along with details regarding the video for his song “Love Interruption” after the jump.
The song and video both feature Ghana-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter Ruby Amanfu. The track is the first single off of Jack White’s upcoming solo album Blunderbuss. The former member of The White Stripes and The Raconteurs has never before released a full-length solo record. “I’ve put off making records under my own name for a long time,” White admitted to the press.
That will come to an end on April 23 of this year, when Blunderbuss drops. Jack White is of course no stranger to recording, having made six studio albums with ex-wife Meg White when the two comprised The White Stripes, as well as two records with his second band, The Raconteurs. White also made two albums with alt-rock supergroup The Dead Weather in 2009 and 2010.
Like the album, the tour dates are something new for Jack White – his first ever headlining shows as a solo act. A presale is going on for Vault members, starting today at 12 Central. They’ll go on sale to the public on this Friday, the 17th, at the same hour.
