The best thing to do with 10 extra bucks on a Friday night. Ever. Ty Segall is a killer guitar player, and mixes surfy psych garage with lots, and lots of feedback, and grunge vocals. White Fence is the side project of Darker My Love & The Strange Boys’ Tim Presley. It sounds like lo-fi garagy heaven. Warped tape, and blown out amps galore. Both these acts are amazing as is, but with their powers combined, they blow minds. Their collaborative LP Hair was released this year, and it’s an awesome listen, one of the best releases so far this year. White Fence also released an LP this Year, Family Perfume Vol 2, which is also really great. Come out to hear some songs from Ty and his band, White Fence, and some joint tunes from the two as well. A win, win, win situation.
