Another newcomer Bear in Heaven came next at the Under the Radar party. Like Superhumanoids earlier-only far more upbeat, the band made synths and pre-recorded samples the primary element of their sonic array. What’s more, the band made the rhythm the star by the combo of their incredibly tight drummer and bassist. The group was most effective when the swirling atmosphere expanded up into full-on cacophony.
