If you’re still reeling from this year’s Valentine’s Day cute-fest or are prepping for next year’s dubious Hallmark-centered festivities, you’ll appreciate The Big Sleep’s February 14 video for the track “Valentine” off of of their January 2012 album Nature Experiments. The video riffs on the familiar — though less attractive — Valentine’s Day theme of desperate (perhaps fatal) pining as a man follows a woman down the street as he becomes increasingly and mysteriously blood-soaked before falling to the floor of a diner, unnoticed.
