The Warby Parker Citizen’s Circus SXSW 2012 Day Parties Announced Featuring The Citizens Band

Warby Parker is bringing a one-of-a-kind act with New York’s The Citizens Band – the first time The Citizens Circus comes to Texas! The free, all-ages 3-day party is like no other show at SXSW; beyond a busy lineup, snacks, libations, and inspiration from artists and socially conscious companies, The Citizens Band is on each day at 7:30 PM with their unique blend of music, dancing, and aerial acrobatics. New York City’s Paper magazine called them “the most exciting act in New York nightlife”, and claimed that “their combination of Broadway showmanship and arty charisma make them the most appealing nightlife act to hit downtown in a long, long time.”

The events start at 1 PM each day – bands on the lineup include Dee Dee (Dum Dum Girls), Yellow Ostrich, Superhumanoids, Big Deal, and more. Plus, it’s one of the few places you can try on Warby Parker sunglasses in person. Read on for the lineup, more details and the RSVP link! The Citizens Band will perform each day of the event at roughly 7:30 p.m.

March 13-15th at the French Legation Museum, 8th St. & Embassy Drive Austin, TX 78702

There will be limited parking and free bicycle parking, and it’s only one block east of I-35 so it’s well within walking distance of downtown. RSVP here!
