All Tomorrow’s Parties has revealed details about this year’s I’ll Be Your Mirror USA 2012 festival, to take place in Asbury Park, New Jersey between September 21 and 23. The festival will be curated by Afghan Whigs frontman Greg Dulli whose group will join a lineup that includes The Roots, and Jose Gonzalez and comedian Louis C.K.. Check out a full festival lineup after the jump.
The festival also marks The Afghan Whigs’ return to the stage after a 13 year hiatus. Their classic-rock/grunge-era fusion is informed by a heavy dose of soul, and the group’s reputation as superb live performers make them a must-see headlining act.
Last year’s event marked ATP’s official move from upstate New York to Jersey’s historical music hub, Asbury Park. The park’s Convention Hall has seen performances from the likes of Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, and The Doors. This September, it will host the festival’s main shows along with the Paramount Theatre.
This year’s events will also include comedy and cinema stages that will feature comedian Louis C.K. and help from The Criterion Collection. Tickets go on sale on Monday, February 27 from ATP’s official festival site. Early-bird passes are available through March 27, when the price will jump to $249. Check back to the site as the months progress for more information on DJs and other activities.
