Carina Round Announces New Album Tigermending For May 2012 Release, Features Collaborations with Bill Corgan, Brian Eno and Dave Stewart

The British singer and songwriter Carina Round has announced that she will be releasing a new album on May 1st.  The 11-tack album, called Tigermending, showcases Round’s collaboration with many other artists, including Dave Stewart, Billy Corgan, and Brian Eno.  Additionally, Round has been able to reintroduce herself to fans by touring as Puscifier’s opener.

After her first gig in the summer of 1996, Round began climbing the ladder to stardom.  She is compared to Patti Smith, PJ Harvey, and Nick Cave, yet nonetheless she maintains her own unique style.

Round has credited her move to LA for allowing her “to develop a loving and supportive community of brilliant musicians, artists, photographers, videographers and other collaborators.”  Each of the songs on Tigermending explores its own style, blending “guitar ragers, acoustic beauties, electronic epics, a little prog moment,” according to Round.
