Indie mainstay Bon Iver has announced tour dates for their spring 2012 trek across the west coast. The tour will cover stops from San Francisco to New Orleans, and all of the dates are tangential to upcoming appearances at Coachella and New Orleans Jazz Fest.
On February 4, the group appeared on Saturday Night Live, performing their song “Holocene” off of the 2011 critically acclaimed 2011 album, Bon Iver, Bon Iver. And, in an unorthodox and entertaining move, the group has released a clip of Justin Vernon working out. According to HTV Hive, the clip will be part of a full-length forthcoming workout DVD. Grab those free weights.
Justin Vernon is also fresh off of a collaboration with Alicia Keys, and has expressed interest in extending his work with singers like Keys into a full songbook..
