The Shins Announce Spring 2012 Tour Dates

The Shins have announced an additional set of dates to their confirmed European and U.S. headlining tour in support of their forthcoming album Port of Morrow, out March 20 from Aural Apothecary/Columbia Records. Check out full tour dates after the jump.

Port of Morrow will be the group’s fourth full length studio album, and their first since the 2007 release of Wincing the Night Away. Their forthcoming effort also marks departure with longtime label Sub Pop. Producer Greg Kurstin, who has handled work for Foster the People and the Flaming Lips is lending his hand to Port of Morrow’s production duties.

The album is currently available for pre-order here, and be sure to check out the preceding single “Simple Song.” The single’s B-side, “September,” is now being offered as pre-tour stream. The free stream also includes custom-made visuals inspired by Jacob Escobedo’s artwork for Port of Morrow.
