The French electro house artist Kavinsky has been receiving more acclaim in the past year after scoring the movie Drive. He has, however, been releasing music for the past eleven years, infusing his work with an 80s feel. According to Prefix, Kavinsky is working on a new project, and you can hear one of his newest songs, “RoadGame” after the jump.
This unreleased song exemplifies Kavinsky’s amazing bass lines and rhythms. It is reminiscent of his song “Nightcall” that was featured in Drive, and attracted attention from Lupe Fiasco and STS.
Up until now, Kavinsky, or Vincent Belorgey, has released three EPs and has toured with Daft Punk, The Rapture, Justice, and SebastiAn. He has also appeared in a few films, including Steak.
