The Beauty Bar’s Beauty Ballroom Grand Opening Night Two: Featuring Elvis/David Bowie Tribute By Ambitious Orchestra W/ Guest Vocalists

Saturday, Jan 28th

Beauty Ballroom

Doors 8

Show 9

$10 tickets

Here’s the schedule for night two of the Beauty Ballroom’s killer grand opening weekend. Night one was a hit with the stylings of Theophilus London, and night two is just as awesome. The Ambitious Orchestra will be celebrating the music of no other than recent birthday boys, and music greats, Elvis Presley, and David Bowie. On vocals will be an impressive list of vocalists including Alex of The Black Angels, Jason Reece of Trail of Dead, and Mike Wiebe of Riverboat Gamblers to name a few of our favorites. It feels like this is going to be one of those cool, weird night in Austin that everyone talks about for a while, and brings up a lot later. Be there so you don’t have to be all annoyed when you’re at your next show, and the dude’s next to you are all “you remember when ___, and ____ sang that badass Elvis cover?!” and then ____ actually chimes in with how that was the best night of their lives, and they have a moment, and you can’t join. That would just be awful. So, make it out to hear some great voices sing some legendary tunes.
