The Beauty Bar’s admin are finally opening the doors on the Beauty Ballroom. The two floor, 700 ft location will join the new emo’s East location across the way. The original Beauty Bar will be closing sometime after SXSW, according to a statement given to austin360, along with the mention that local bands will still play the new location, good to know. Here’s the schedule for the night one of this mega two day grand opening featuring Brooklyn rapper/songwriter/producer Theophilus London, and mega – DJ Treasure Fingers. We’ll get night two to you shortly. Both night’s lineups are really rad, so just plan on parking it on the East side of Red River for the weekend.
