2 Live Crew’s four original members have announced a plan to reunite for a summer tour, as reported by Spin. The announcement was made by Luther Campbell, the group’s label owner and co-producer, during his Sundance appearance on January 21.

Luke hasn’t teamed up with Fresh Kid Ice, Brother Marquis and Mr. Mixx since 1995’s raunchy “Hootchie Mama”, though the four performed for the first time together in 13 years last year during VH1 Hip Hop Honors. The group is just as known for their raunchy tunes as they are for defending the right to create them.
