Independent musician booking service Indie on the Move has released details about their upcoming SXSW festival day party. This year’s gathering will include acts like Love Hate Affair,Mobley,and Indie on the Move founders ZELAZOWA in a day party that will stretch from noon on March 15 to a 4:40pm set by Tennessee rockers, Natural Child.
Indie on the Move was created by Philadelphia’s ZELAZOWA in an effort to make concert booking an approachable process for independent musicians. Their site stresses the collaborative efforts required to create a community of audiences and performers, and they’ve been instrumental successful indie tours like those of Nashville’s The Winter Sounds and California rockers Warner Drive.
This year’s SXSW party will be held at Skinny’s Ballroom in Austin, and will feature free libatations, food, and “swag everywhere.”
