Andrew W.K. Announces Spring Tour and SXSW 2012 Dates Performing I Get Wet At Every Show

The “King of Partying” Andrew W.K. has announced his “I Get Wet” headline tour dates.  At each and every performance of the tour, Andrew and his band plan to perform their 2001 major label debut, I Get Wet, in its entirety in celebration of the tenth anniversary of the album’s release.  This tour will be the first time the band performs together in seven years.

A California native, Andrew has explored many genres of music, from classical to experimental to rock n’ roll.  After releasing the controversial “I Get Wet,” Andrew was seen as a representative of a new generation with his unique and exhilarating personality.  Currently residing in New York City, Andrew continues to push the boundaries and impact the world of music, running his NYC nightclub and a record label, while working on a TV show and releasing multiple albums simultaneously.

Pre-sale tickets for the concerts will be available via Andrew’s official site on Friday, January 20th at 10 am, and the tickets will go fast, so be sure to move quickly.
