American metal group Corrosion of Conformity have announced that they will embark on a headlining U.S. tour set to begin on March 1 at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City. The group will be joined by Torche, Valient Thorr and A Storm of Light.
The group is fresh off of a string of dates performed with Maryland rockers Clutch. During the break between their December dates and March’s extensive tour, C.O.C. will play a one-off show with self-described “misanthropic Southern metal” group Hail!Hornet at the Orange Peel in Asheville, North Carolina on January 22. The performance occurs in tandem with the release of southern metal documentary Slow Southern Steel, produced by Rwake vocalist, CT.
As previously reported, the tour will coincide with the February 28 release of C.O.C.’s self-titled full length studio album from Candlelight Records. The album’s release will close a six-year gap between this year’s effort and 2005’s In the Arms of God.
