Madonna Signs Three-Album Contract With Interscope

Madonna is doing pretty well for herself these days.  Aside from her high-grossing partnership with Live Nation, the singer just signed a three album deal with Interscope.

2008’s Hard Candy marks the last Madonna album released via Warner Bros. during her 25 year stint at the label.   Now, the artist has signed a three-album deal with Interscope, with a base of one million dollars per album.

This record deal with Interscope will not interfere with Madonna’s 10 year multi-rights partnership with Live Nation that was established in 2007.  The Live Nation deal has been obscenely fruitful, with her “Sticky & Sweet” tour grossing $408 worldwide.

Madonna will begin work on her first album once her first foray into directing is complete.  This film, “W.E.,” is expected to hit theaters early next year.

It also has been confirmed that Madonna will be performing at half-time show of this upcoming Super Bowl.
