Municipal Waste, the crossover thrash metal band from Virginia has just finished up what will be their fifth studio album. The Fatal Feast will be available spring 2012 via Nuclear Blast Records.
Though the genre of crossover thrash metal falls victim to becoming thematically and musically redundant with an unfortunate expedience, Municipal Waste has done a relatively good job of keeping the intensity and morbid humor cranked high over the years. The Fatal Feast should be no different from the band’s stylistic trend.
Frontman Tony Foresta reports that the record will feature guest musicians, including John Conelly of Nuclear Assault, Steve Moore of Zombi, and Tim Barry, who was once in Avail. Foresta also commented, “The Waste is really looking forward to providing you with the soundtrack to the end of the world in 2012. See you there!” Come spring 2012, we’ll ride fearlessly into the apocalypse with The Fatal Feast cranked high in our Ipod earbuds.
