South African zef rape-rave collective Die Antwoord have announced an official release date for their highly-anticipated forthcoming album, TEN$ION. The album will hit retail outlets on February 7, two days before the group returns to the States for a string of live performances.
As previously reported, TEN$ION will be released on the group’s own impress, Zef Records following a break with Interscope Records after the label suggested the group re-work the album before its release.
Die Antwoord has been slowly revealing details for the album release as they become available.
TEN$ION follows the group’s 2010 debut $0$, and the group has since risen to meteoric notoriety for their bizarre and extreme onstage antics and pervasive online presence. The ensemble is comprised of frontman Ninja, singer-rapper Yo-Landi Vi$$er, and DJ Hi-Tek.
Watch out for TEN$ION in retail outlets everywhere on February 28.
