The Paid Dues Independent Hip Hop Festival has announced headliner for the 7th annual installment on Saturday April 7. Festival organizers MURS and Guerilla Union have revealed that legendary hip hop crew Wu-Tang Clan and Los Angeles collective Odd Future will headline this year’s round of performances.
The festival will take place at San Bernardino, California’s NOS Events Center, and will feature acts performing on multiple stages throughout the day of the 7th. The festival is headed up by independent hip hop pioneer MURS, in association with Guerilla Union of Rock The Bells and Cypress Hill SmokeOut.
“Wu Tang entered the game in the early 90s and changed everything,” says MURS. “And Odd Future has already made an enormous impression in their own right just a few years in. To have these two dynamic forces on the same stage on the same night is almost unimaginable.”
Chang Weisberg of Guerilla Union adds, “This year’s Paid Dues will be historic…this will be our biggest, most ambitious Paid Dues ever.”
Pre-sales for Guerilla Union tickets began on Wednesday, December 14, and general public tickets have been available since Saturday, December 17.
