This past Saturday in San Francisco, the original members of Metallica shared the stage with Black Sabbath legends Ozzy Osbourne and Geezer Butler to celebrate the band’s 30th anniversary. The concert, held at the Fillmore, was the fourth and ultimate concert put on specifically for their fan club members.
Former Metallica members Dave Mustaine (currently of Megadeth), Jason Newsted, Lloyd Grant, Ron McGovney, Hugh Tanner, and long-time producer Bob Rock were all there. With the help of many, including members of Black Sabbath and The Soul Rebels, Metallica took the stage and played 20 songs in celebration of three decades of success.
