For the first time 40 years, Bruce Springsteen will be making an appearance at Denmark’s greatest music festival. News of The Boss sharing the stage with acts like Björk and Bon Iver has made fans feel anticipatory for the legendary Roskilde Festival 200 days before it begins.
In a previous story, we confirmed that Björk will be headlining Roskilde Festival 20112. Aside Bruce Springsteen and Björk, other acts such as Bon Iver, Royce Da 5’7″, Wiz Khalifa and Yelawolf have been confirmed on the festival website. More news on the festival’s lineup are sure to be released at a later date.
The Roskilde Festival’s official dates are July 5-8 2012, although pre-festival warm ups begin June 30. Although last year’s festival had its fair share of misfortunes, such as the untimely death of a tower-scaling festival goer, this year’s lineup proves that the esteemed festival is approaching the new year at full force. Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band will be playing on the famous Orange Stage, which can be seen below.
