Mötley Crüe Announce Las Vegas Residency

Mötley Crüe has announced plans to invade Sin City with Las Vegas’ first-ever hard rock residency. The extended run begins on February 3 and lasts until February 19, and will have the “world’s most notorious band” performing at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Tickets for the event went on sale December 3. They start at $45 are available via www.motley.com, www.thejointlasvegas.com or from www.ticketmaster.com. Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is also offering ticket and room packages, and VIP seating and packages will also be available.

The band, composed of vocalist Vince Neil, guitarist Mick Mars, bassist Nikki Sixx, and drummer Tommy Lee, has big plans for making the 2012 Mötley Crüe in Sin City tour one that fans will never forget. Exact details are being kept under wraps to allow a certain element of surprise for fans, but are expected to supersede the bands already notoriously high production expectations.

“We are very excited to announce our upcoming partnership with legendary rockers Mötley Crüe,” said Paul Davis, vice president of entertainment at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, in a recent press release. “The one-of-a-kind production will be the most unique, interactive, fan-driven concert experience the band has ever created.”

The band also seems enthusiastic about living up to the title of most notorious band in the world.

“I don’t know about you, but when I think of Mötley Crüe I think of filthy sex, drugs, a REALLY big show, and way too much fun,” Tommy Lee said in a recent press release. “That sounds like Vegas doesn’t it? A match made in heaven!”
