Go check out the other side of 6th for this killer show. I’ve only been to the Hotel Vegas once for a SXSW show, the Sinister Foxy showcase. It’s basically a small stage, a bar, and cracked paint, but it was a great time nonetheless, and the crowd was way pretty, as the situation should be for Saturday as well. The website says “grand opening weekend,” so maybe some renovations? Hmm. Holy Wave is really fun, and it’s almost impossible to not enjoy Christian Bland + guitar. Trust me on this one, I’ve tested this theory out many a time while watching The Black Angels, boring just doesn’t ever happen within that combination. Tune in, and drooooone out for this ‘Psychedelic Rock n’ Roll Bash.’
