American indie rockers Grouplove have announced details about their 2012 North American tour plans. The Canvasback/Atlantic recording artists will begin their 22-stop tour on March 6 in Burlington, VT in support of fellow SoCal artists Young The Giant.
The announcement of 2012 tour dates comes days before the kickoff of the group’s existing November and December plans. Tickets are still on sale for many of the winter tour stops! Check out the group’s official site for online purchase and more information.
Grouplove is coming off of the release of their September full-length debut, Never Trust Happy Song, produced by the group’s own Ryan Rabin. The record was met with critical acclaim, and even landed a spot in the Billboard 200. One track, “Colours” is currently in the Top 15 Alternative Radio chart, and was even featured in November 18 performance on “The Late Show with David Letterman.”
Grouplove toured earlier this year alongside The Joy Formidable and were handpicked to open several West Coast dates for Florence + The Machine. They also co-headlined cross-country tour with Foster The People, with appearances at Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, the Readings & Leeds festivals, and Glastonbury.
