IFC will debut season two of the hit series Portlandia on January 6, 2012, and they recently made the announcement that this season will feature guest appearances from Eddie Vedder, the Sex Pistols’ Steve Jones, Joanna Newsom and Isaac Brock, among others.
Other guest stars slated to appear are The Smiths’ Johnny Marr and Annie Clark. Those guests will join the core cast of Tim Robbins, Andy Samberg, Amber Tamblyn, Kristen Wiig, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Penny Marshall and Kyle MacLachlan.
The show is shot on location in Portland, OR and is directed by co-writer and co-creator Jonathan Krisel.
