As we reported late last month, the Jeff Mangum-curated All Tomorrow’s Parties festival was pushed back to March 9-11, 2012 from its initial December date. ATP recently revealed a new lineup for the event, this time featuring the likes of Magnetic Fields and Joanna Newsom.
Headlining the Butlins, Minehead, UK fest will be Mangum along with Newsom and Magnetic Fields. Support will include Thurston Moore, Young Marble Giants, Scratch Acid and the Fall, among many others.
Artists that were scheduled for the December show that won’t be making it in March include Panda Bear, Superchunk, Colin Stetson and Tinariwen. To make up for those losses, a recent press release indicated that organizers are attempting to secure sets from Micachu, Fleet Foxes, the Shapes and Sun Ra Arkestra.
