Tuesday night’s The Late, Late Show With Craig Ferguson featured a very special performance by a decidedly offbeat supergroup. Husband and wife team Amanda Palmer of the Dresden Dolls and bestselling author Neil Gaiman, joined well-known electronic artist Moby and indie pop star Stephen Merritt for an intriguing performance of The Rocky Horror Picture Show’s “Science Fiction/Double Feature,” available to watch after the jump.
CBS’ The Late, Late Show established their support for alternative music during Craig Kilborn’s years as host. Kilborn turned the show into a variety hour that welcomed innovative guests like Morrissey and Pet Shop Boys.
Tuesday’s performance sets Ferguson firmly in that tradition with this patchwork group’s original and eccentric performance.
Of course, from this group of names, the charming idiosyncrasies should surely come as no surprise.
