The Kills are currently underway on their 2011-2012 world tour in support of their latest LP, Blood Pressures, to extend into next year. The tour will feature stops in 17 international destinations, and 15 domestic destinations, concluding in New York City in mid-February. They’ll be accompanied by the Nashville-based rock group JEFF the Brotherhood.
The group is comprised of American singer Alison Mosshart, and British guitarist Jamie Hince. Their first studio album, Keep On Your Mean Side was met with critical acclaim. One track, “Wait,” was featured in the 2006 film, Children of Men.
The group released two additional albums, No Wow in 2005, and Midnight Boom in 2008.
Their current tour is in support of their fourth album, Blood Pressures, released April 5, 2011.
