Roger Waters Announces 2012 The Wall Tour Dates

Roger Waters of Pink Floyd is currently in the midst of his ongoing The Wall tour, one of the most successful road tours in the history of modern music.  Not even finished the current leg of the tour, Waters recently revealed slew of tour dates for 2012—including a long stretch of North American tour dates.

Waters’ 2012 dates will begin in January in Australia, after which the former Pink Floyd frontman will make his way to South America to play a series of dates in Argentina and Brazil.  The North American dates kick off May 1 in Austin, TX and run through mid-July.

Outdoor stadium shows are currently scheduled in Philadelphia, Chicago and San Francisco.  Venues have yet to be revealed for concerts scheduled in Los Angeles, Boston and New York.

Reports indicate that the summer tour will feature a 40-foot by 35-foot wall constructed between the stage and audience that will be knocked down as the show goes on.
