My Bloody Valentine guitarist/vocalist Kevin Shields has reportedly started his own record label along with the help of Le Volume Courbe’s Charlotte Marionneau dubbed Pickpocket. The label’s first release will be Le Volume Courbe’s Theodaurus Rex EP on November 14.
“I was like, ‘I’ll just get rid of a few pedals that I’ve had lying around for ten years and we’ll start a label,’” Shields told NME in an interview.
Initially prepared for a release via another label, Theodaurus Rex will see its Pickpocket release in the form of a 10-inch said Mariounneau in the same NME piece.
While the label is lead by Shields, it should be noted that it will not release new material from My Bloody Valentine.
