Lulu Gainsbourg honors his father with a tribute album. The aptly titled, From Lulu to Gainsbourg, is set to be released in France on November 14 via Universal. Details about the U.S. release have not yet been revealed.
French singer-songwriter, actor and director Serge Gainsbourg is perhaps most remembered for his influences in the world of music. His son, Lulu Gainsbourg has decided to honor his late father by finding a team of high profile musicians to collaborate on a tribute album. Aside from Lulu and Charlotte Gainsbourg, the album will feature Iggy Pop, Scarlett Johansson, Rufus Wainwright, Vanessa Paradis and Marianne Faithfull.
