Electro house duo Digitalism are returning to the U.S. for a North American tour being sponsored by Jägermeister Herbal Liqueur. Beginning November 28 in Chicago, Illinois and finishing up in San Francisco on December 14, the pair are touring the U.S. in support of 2011’s I Love You Dude, after an extensive European tour and headlining HARD’s Sumer Music Festival alongside the likes of Chromeo, Ducksauce, Skrillex, and many other well-known electronic music artists.
I Love You Dude was released in the United States on June 21 on V2 Records/Cooperative Music U.S.A.. It is the Hamburg native’s first studio album since 2007’s Idealism, which reached number 6 on the Hot Dance Club Songs Chart in the U.S..
Highlights from the album include “Forrest Gump”, a song co-written by Julian Casablancas (The Strokes), and the stand-out single “2Hearts”. Fans of the the bands mellow soundscapes should check out the ethereal synths and vapory vocals on “Just Gazin”, and those who like it hard won’t be disappointed by the banger track “Antibiotics”.
