Beloved English trip-hop duo Massive Attack recently announced that they have joined forces with famed London dubstep producer/musician Burial to release a two-song single via Inhale Gold/The Vinyl Factory on October 17. Stream a track from the single after the jump.
Limited to just 1,000 copies, the single will reportedly be pressed on high-quality 180-gram vinyl and shipped in a screen-printed, flashy gold glitter sleeve designed by Massive Attack member Robert Del Naja, aka 3D.
The tracks featured on the single are a remix of “Paradise Circus,” off of Massive Attack’s 2010 album Heligoland, and a new track dubbed “Four Walls.” The latter is a near-12-minute epic that features the traditional haunting Massive Attack sound, only more epic. You can pre-order the single here.
