Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes escaped unharmed on Monday after he was attacked onstage during a show in Salt Lake City. According to NME, the singer was attacked by several crowd members, but was able to return to the stage half an hour later to finish the show.
Sykes became angry after bottles and other projectiles were thrown onstage, and invited the audience members who threw them to either leave, or to confront him personally onstage. Several audience members then attacked Sykes. A fan captured the altercation, available to watch below.
The attack didn’t prevent Sykes from returning to the stage to finish the show.
Many fans without projectiles had the chance to see Bring Me The Horizon during their recent U.S. tour, and can still catch them as they continue internationally. Full tour dates available here.
The band will also open for Machine Head’s UK arena tour, set to begin later this year.
