Two days ago we revealed the line-up of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’s week-long celebration dedicated to the reissue of decades of classic psychedelic rock by none other than Pink Floyd. Last night The Shins took the stage to pay tribute to the band by covering “Breathe”, from the Floyd’s inspiring 1973 album Dark Side of the Moon. Check out the video below:
Fallon is hosting Pink Floyd Week to commemorate Why Pink Floyd?, a reissue collaboration between the band and EMI Music that will be releasing entertainment across various mediums for fans, including a brand-new single album “Best of Collection”, super-deluxe box sets, multi-disc collections of CD’s, DVD’s and Blu-Ray discs, as well as exploring the digital frontier with iPhone apps, viral marketing and many, many more.
