Scott H. Biram, aka The Dirty Old One Man Band, recently revealed a download of “Dontcha Lie To Me Baby,” a track that comes from his upcoming Bloodshot Records release, Bad Ingredients—an effort that he started touring behind earlier this week.
“Dontcha Lie To Me Baby” is a classic Biram track, with his trademark punk-cum-bluegrass vocals blazing over driving drums and wailing guitar. Check out the track below:
His fourth album with Bloodshot to date, Bad Ingredients will feature 13 all new tracks from the Austin-based musician. Mastered by the legendary Jerry Tubb (Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, et al.), the album was recorded in Biram’s home studio and shows the artist extending into a more mature musical phase of his career amidst riotus tracks like “Victory Song” and the above “Dontcha Lie To Me Baby.”
Hiram’s current tour will run through the end of November and runs across the US, ultimately wrapping in Austin on November 26. Tour support includes Joe Buck Yourself and Molly Gene One Whoaman Band.
