“West coast best coast”- true in some cases, but this phrase gets a serious challenge from KYLESA, co-ed quintet of psychedelic/metal rockers from as far away from the west coast as you can get: Savanna, GA. They’ve already been gaining some serious buzz by tearing up the stage at festivals like Bonnaroo and Wacken Open Air Festival as well as touring with well-loved names like Mastadon and Baroness, but they’re ready to rock all on their own now- their set at the Troubador on September 2nd* is their declaration to the west coast that they’ve arrived, and they’re here to rock your brains out heavy metal style. Also, portions of the show will be recorded and some songs aired later on the Carson Daily Show. Sweet.
Def a band to keep an eye on- or better yet, thrash to live.
*Sweat optional, but expected.
