Tuesday, August 30th
Mohawk (outiside)
6:30 pm
$11 tickets
Mister Heavenly is Honus of Man Man, NIck of Islands, and Joe of Modest mouse. Their sound is about harmony, both in the ’50’s undertoned vocals and vibe, and in lyrical content about the pleasures and woes of love. Each of these guys comes from a background of unique indie music, and they bring it together to form a presentation all it’s own. And yes, Michael Cera totally played bass in this band for a bit. Check them out, and then stay for the afterparty which begins at 11 with Chris Catalena and the Native Americans, and Abandoned Warehouse .
