Collaboration Between James Blake and Bon Iver, “Fall Creek Boys Choir,” Revealed

On August 24, indie stars James Blake and Bon Iver (Justin Vernon) revealed their collaboration, “Fall Creek Boys Choir” on BBC Radio One. This was only week after Blake suggested via Twitter to expect something from both him and Vernon.  There has been no indication as to whether there is more material to come from the pair.

The two artists met at this year’s SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, and had been in touch since then.

The track was produced by Blake and sung by Vernon, and although the pair never met in person during the composition process, the track successfully came together through email exchange. The lingering question is now whether the two will continue to produce music together.

The track will be available via iTunes on August 29.

James Blake has also announced a short UK tour for this November.

James Blake tour dates are as follows:

11/25 – Leeds University
11/26 – Manchester Warehouse Project
11/29 – Birstol Anson Rooms
11/30 – HMV London Forum
