Set to release his debut self-titled album Oct. 25, LA-based artist Zenith Myth has uploaded the single, “Ego Fader,” onto Souncloud.com for those eager for a glimpse of his musical work. Recorded at French Kiss Studios in Canada, the album features a plethora of Mike Edward’s friends whom brought Zenith Myth to life.
Produced by Jordon Zadorozny from Blinker the Star, Edwards along with; Paul D’Amour formerly of Tool, Melissa Auf der Maur formerly of Hole, Mike Bloom of the now defunct Rilo Kiley, Sam Goldberg of Broken Social Scene, and Meshell Ndegeocello all made the trip to Zadorozny’s studio to record the nine track debut album, Zenith Myth.
The five and-a-half minute track, “Ego Fader,” features a slow driving ’90s post-punk beat with a few heavily reverbed guitar tracks cascading a gloom but not doom atmosphere of chords and picking patterns.
