Nick Oliveri, former bassist for Queens of the Stone Age, has been charged with four felonies following his arrest at his Los Angeles apartment last month. The rockstar was originally booked for felony domestic violence after locking himself and his girlfriend inside his apartment as she was gathering her belongings to move out. Oliveri allegedly struck his girlfriend before barring her exit, finally culminating in a face-off with an LAPD S.W.A.T. team. After two hours, Oliveri allowed his girlfriend to leave, and subsequently surrendered himself after two more hours. A police inspection of his residence found a loaded rifle as well as cocaine and methamphetamine.
As reported by TMZ, Oliveri has now been charged with four felony counts and faces a maximum prison sentence of 15 years. TMZ reports that the charges include “two counts of possession of a controlled substance with a firearm, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and one misdemeanor count of resisting, obstructing or delaying a peace officer.”
