To celebrate the release of the UFO Club/Night Beats split 10″ the APF people have teamed up with Sailor Jerry to throw the coolest party in town. Not surprising as this year’s Austin Psych Fest was nothing short of amazing. The Dum Dum girls will be playing in a unique set up as a guitar duo, and hopefully, the ladies will be playing some songs off their beautiful new album as hearing it in such a fashion would be pretty damn cool . This will also be the premiere performance from UFO Club (Lee Blackwell of Night Beats + Christian Bland of Black Angels). It’ll be an experience to see how that drone smothered mesh of acid happy ’50’s pop, and paranoid ’60’s psych translate to a live setting. If I were the betting kind, I would put my money it sounding somewhere along the lines of really awesome, and whoa.
