The MTK: Music To Know Festival, which was scheduled to take place in East Hampton, NY this upcoming weekend, has been cancelled. A statement on the MTK website cited low ticket sales as the basis for cancellation.
“Despite our unique vision and arranging a world-class lineup, ticket sales were not adequate to allow the event to continue…. We too are filled with deep disappointment. We pledge to endure during this difficult time with the same integrity and professionalism displayed throughout the creation of this event.” Ticket holders have been directed to check the festival’s website in the coming week for refund information.
The event was scheduled to feature artists such as Vampire Weekend, Bright Eyes, Matt & Kim, Cold War Kids, Chromeo, and more. Click here to read our previous article on the MTK Festival.
