French electronica duo Justice have detailed new information about their long-awaited sophomore album, Audio, Video, Disco, due out on October 25 from Ed Banger Records.
In an interview with Pitchfork, Justice’s Xavier de Rosnay discussed what fans can expect from the new album. Recorded over eighteen months in Paris, Audio, Video, Disco will feature tracks laced with a bit more rock and instrumental influence than Justice’s 2007 debut †. However, though de Rosnay commented that the new sound is “a bit more band-y,” the duo plans on keeping true to the “electronic aesthetic” in any future tours or performances.
Additionally, de Rosnay added that Justice will keep the † imagery that was used in the last tour, though they will keep it fresh by utilizing it “in a different environment and a different way.” Check out the videos below to hear new tracks from Audio, Video, Disco.
