Following the nomination of Tyler, The Creator for video of the year (“Yonkers”) and best new artist in this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, Los Angeles hip hop collective Odd Future announced dates for their first ever national tour dubbed the Golf Wang Tour.
With no openers except for Odd Future member Syd The Kid, the tour will kick of September 28 in San Diego and run across the US before wrapping up November 11 in Tempe, AZ.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, August 3 for fan club members and Friday, August 5 for the general public.
Tyler, The Creator got MTV’s attention with his self-directed video for the track “Yonkers,” which quickly gained substantial YouTube presence and now his him contending with the likes of the Beastie Boys and Bruno Mars.
