Final GWAR-B-Q Lineup Announced, Original Bassist Mike Bishop to Join For Set of “Scumdog” Era Songs

Following the banning of Oderus Urungus from Fox’s Redeye, the final lineup for the previously announced GWAR-B-Q has been announced. Including acts such as Darkest Hour, White Cross and DBX in addition to, of course, Gwar, this year’s festival is poised to bring about Armageddon.

Scheduled to take place September 17 at Hadad’s Water Park in Richmond, VA, this year’s Gwar-B-Q will feature special events like American A-hole, an Oderus Kissing Booth and the questionably titled Spew-O-Lympics.  Additionally, there will be two stages set up for a day of music, grilling and the grotesque.

Gwar’s set will feature bass playing from the original Beefcake the Mighty, Mike Bishop, for a special performance of songs from the Scumdogs of the Universe era.

The full lineup for this year’s Gwar-B-Q is as follows:

Main Stage

Gwar
Darkest Hour
Kepone
Mensrea
DBX
Groundscore

Second Stage

Battle Master
White Cross
The Occultist
Bloody Crackdown

Tickets are available for $20 via Gwar’s site and will cost $25 at the door.  You may also purchase deluxe and premium tickets, the latter of which includes a chance to be fed to the legendary World Maggot.
